Dr. Robert “Bob” Morrow has had a lifelong interest in human behavior and the mind.
While serving in the United States Navy medical corps during the Vietnam War, Dr. Morrow became interested in the field of psychiatry. He graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University where he majored in biology and psychology, and then completed his medical school training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, then his residency in psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. It was during this time that he became interested in treating people with substance use disorders, which became a major focus of his psychiatry practice.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Morrow served as Medical Director of four substance abuse treatment facilities where he developed and implemented a a dual disorders rehabilitation program (College Hill Medical Center) and was a founder of Water Gap Wellness.
Dr. Morrow also started the first Suboxone treatment program in Monroe County Pennsylvania in 2006, and served on the Pennsylvania Medical Society Physician Health Programs Committee from 2001-2007.
