Jeannine Setzer attended East Stroudsburg University and obtained a BS in Psychology. She then worked for two years as a counselor for at risk youth on probation where she developed a passion for helping people.

After having her two children, Jeannine turned her passion into early childhood education and was a teacher for ten years.

Jeannine became interested in working in the areas of substance use and mental health and became a Behavioral Health Technician, where she spent four years working in a residential setting. Jeannine soon returned to school and obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 2017. Since obtaining her Master’s in Social Work, Jeannine has been working as a counselor for people with substance use and mental health diagnoses. Jeannine uses a “Strengths-Based Perspective” to empower her clients to live a healthy and authentic life.

In her free time, Jeannine enjoys hiking, music, spending time with her daughters, and any time at the beach.
