Katie Ionescu is a Primary Therapist at Water Gap Wellness. Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Quinnipiac University, and her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from Marywood University.
Since 2020, Katie has worked in a variety of Mental Health and Substance Abuse settings as both a Clinician and an Art Therapist. Katie takes pride in her approach of combining traditional psychotherapy with the creative arts to promote increased sense of self and emotional awareness.
Katie is in the process of obtaining her ATR-BC and LPC credentials. She aims to improve mental and emotional well-being by encouraging compassion, empathy, and creativity.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and her Black Labrador named Fig. She enjoys long drives, good books, and making people smile.
