Intensive Outpatient

Water Gap Wellness Center’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a level of care that provides clients with access to a safe, structured treatment environment without total disruption of their daily routines. Our IOP offers a housing option at the Water Gap Wellness Inn or clients can stay at home and commute to treatment every day.

Our counseling programs are individualized and customized to each client’s particular situation, background and needs. Our counselors are trauma trained and experienced in all facets of the mental health and substance use disorder spectrum. Our treatment setting is personal and spacious allowing us to offer our clients one-on-one attention and compassionate care in order to meet the needs of each individual client. Depending on your loved one’s needs, we implement a variety of therapies, including:

  • Psychotherapy (talk therapy)
  • Medication
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Social Skills Therapy
  • Seeking Safety

IOP treatment helps your loved one learn how to manage a mental illness while balancing work, relationships and other aspects of everyday life. Our IOP program provides a comprehensive step-down level of support for your loved one as they learn to manage their mental illness and/or substance use disuse with the everyday challenges that arise with work, relationships and family.
