Kelley is a Primary Therapist for Water Gap Wellness.
Kelley became interested in the Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder field during her 28-year career teaching high school English, and seeing her students and loved ones fight mental health disorders and substance use disorders. She recently graduated with her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation/Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rutgers University.
Kelley’s goals as a counselor are to work with individuals through the use of CBT, Dialectical therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients develop coping interventions such as stimulus control skills and distress tolerance skills. An eclectic approach is used during sessions so that all clients’ ways of learning can be addressed.
